From September 2015 the school will have a Foundation Stage Unit. For our younger children, our Foundation Stage Unit caters for children who would traditionally be in 'nursery', and 'Reception' years. The Foundation Stage is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. Their early years experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure. Within the foundation stage, children develop their learning through play-based activities. Children learn both indoors and outdoors and teaching and learning is based upon the children's interests and their individual needs.
We offer two daily sessions for our nursery age children.
8.45-11.45am and 12.15-3.15pm Monday to Friday.
We also offer wraparound care between 11.45 and 12.15pm where children can join the rest of the school for lunch.
Our Reception age children start school at 9am and finish at 3.15pm.
