Mr Dan Braithwaite

Co-opted Governor

Appointed by Full Governing Body

"I have been a Governor at Thursby School for 7yrs and I am currently the Chair of the Governing Body.  It is a very rewarding role that gives me the opportunity to support the school and contribute to shaping how it works for children and parents.  It is a pleasure to work alongside the dedicated staff and other Governors at the school to constantly improve the quality of education that children experience.  My day job as Assistant Principal at Lakes College helps with aspects related to education however I continue to learn lots about education through my Governor role.  I am looking forward to another exciting and successful year at Thursby School as Chair of Governors."
