Daily home learning activities for our class will continue to be sent via Tapestry. If you have any problems please let us know on our class email: firstname.lastname@example.org
In addition to this we will also be adding a weekly plan/learning project on here. This is to guide you with daily routines and to engage your children in as much learning as possible. We understand that every family will have their own circumstances so please use these as a guide and adapt where necessary.
Take good care and stay safe.

***** Important information for parents 06/01/2021)*****
Due to the high volume of use nationally, Tapestry is experiencing technical issues. Please bear with us.
It does take longer for any photos and observations to upload. We will continue to use Tapestry as our communication and home learning platform, it may take a little longer to receive pre-recorded lessons.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Good morning Parents and Children.
We were always aware that one day we may find ourselves in this situation. Please bare with us until we can direct you towards materials for home learning. For now, please encourage your child to read at home, practice their phonic sounds that we have learned so far - using their phonic folders, and access Purple Mash. I am currently setting tasks on Purple Mash/Mini Mash and these will be available later today.
Thank you for your understanding. Please continue to check this page. If you need further support or clarification please contact us via the class email address email@example.com
Below this text is an internal link to the ‘parents - useful information’ page. It contains photos of how the school looks . If your child is in a keyworker group and returning to school, it may be an idea to familiarise them . There are photos of bubble 1 (nursery to year 2) and bubble 2 (year 3-6) . It also shows the 2m distance markings in the playground too.
Weekly Home learning plans
Week commencing 25th May - Happy Half Term!!!
Hello to all of our wonderful Foundation Stage Families!
Can you believe we have had a whole half term of home learning?! and a super one it has been too! You have all worked so hard!
I want to start this off by say a huge thank you to all parents for getting involved and turning this unprecedented time in to a positive, fun and enjoyable for the wonderful children of our class.
Also a big THANK YOU to MRS MASSEY - for the wonderful whole school learning projects she has set and we have all greatly received, in particular VE Day projects.
And the BIGGEST and most important thank you has to go to all the children in our class - Nursery and Reception. The photos and videos that parents have sent via Tapestry and our class email never fail to make me smile, and I'm sure when you have taken a look at our class galleries, you have all smiled at them too.
Over the half term week there will be no work set. Enjoy the time with your loved ones at home and look after each other. We continue to be here for you via Tapestry and the class email: firstname.lastname@example.org Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need to, or even if you just want to say a little hello.
Take care - we are all thinking of you! and we miss you all so much!

Thank you for taking the time to send them in. I hope you too are enjoying everyone’s efforts in the class gallery. I will keep adding them on once a week.
Our fantastic Mrs Massey is setting another whole school learning challenge. This time we will be celebrating World Environment Day (5th June). Please take a look at the whole school learning page to find out more!!

Daily Home Learning activities from Cumbria County Council Early Years Team
From Monday 20 April, in order to support families with early years children, Cumbria Early Years Team will post a simple daily activity for the children and families to try together at home - ‘what can I do today?’
A new activity will be posted each morning on the Children and Families Information Service Facebook page.
The activities are all no cost and can be done with everyday objects that you find around the home:
We hope that families will enjoy these activities and spending time together.
