Year 6 TRANSITION to Year 7
With the Summer Holidays fast approaching, I know a lot of you in Year 6 will be thinking about moving onto your new school come September.
I am aware that many of the secondary schools have been in touch and offered some transition ideas, activities, phone calls, video calls or even video tours of the school.
Every secondary has approached this in a different manner so I have attached some documents that can be completed no matter which secondary you will be going to. They will look similar to the weekly home learning documents that you have been completing.
There are many documents and many activities. There are NOT all to be completed but are there for you to pick and chose as to what will be most appropriate to you.
A colleague in another school has also produced a booklet for children moving to Nelson Thomlinson, again there are activities in this that can be completed no matter which secondary school you are going to.
