PFA
We have a very active Parents and Friends’ Association at Thursby School, which, over the years, has raised many thousands of pounds. The money raised has helped the school buy a range of resources which otherwise would not be available for your children to use. The PFA’s contribution includes such things as sports kits, library books and school grounds improvements.
The Association is also noted for organising social events for both children and adults, which help to engender a greater sense of community amongst those associated with Thursby School. The PFA is always ready to welcome new members, so if you are interested in playing an active role in the Association, please do not hesitate to contact the Chairperson, Darren Johnston. An AGM is held in September of each year.
