At Thursby Primary School, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school creates the best environment for our children to learn and grow. Our Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is a vibrant and valued part of our school community, bringing together parents, carers, staff, governors, and friends of the school to support and enhance the educational experiences of our children.

The PFA plays an important role in school life by organising a variety of events, fundraising activities, and community gatherings throughout the year. These activities not only help to raise valuable funds for the school but also provide opportunities for families to come together, build friendships, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Thursby Primary School such a special place.

Funds raised by the PFA have helped to provide additional resources, equipment, experiences, and enrichment opportunities that directly benefit our pupils. Whether supporting classroom resources, contributing towards educational visits, enhancing outdoor learning areas, or helping to fund special events and celebrations, the PFA's contributions make a real difference to the experiences and opportunities available to all children.

Everyone is welcome to become involved with the PFA, whether by joining meetings, helping to organise events, volunteering at activities, sharing ideas, or simply attending and supporting events throughout the year. There is no minimum commitment, and every contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.

Being part of the PFA is a fantastic way to support the school, get to know other families, and play an active role in the life of the school community. New members and volunteers are always warmly welcomed.
