Welcome to Class 3!

We are a mixed age class of 22 children (year 3 and 4) and our teachers are Mrs Brown (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), Miss Gregson (Thursday and Friday) and Mrs Gould (PPA cover). Mrs Carter (STA) and Miss McBride (Apprentice TA) will also be supporting the class at various times throughout the week

Key Information:

• Our PE days are Tuesday (Swimming) and Wednesday (Ball Skills) during the Autumn 1. We ask that children come to school wearing their PE kits on these days. Long hair should be tied up and no jewellery should be worn. Any stud earrings must be removed or taped if they are new piercings.

• Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack for morning break.
• Please ensure that your child brings a full water bottle to school each day.
• School dinners are to be ordered on the schoolgrid website.

• Your child will visit the library every Wednesday, please make sure that they return their books when they are ready to change them.

• Year 4 will participate in a Multiplication Tables Check in the summer term (see useful document below).

Homework:

• Every child is expected to read to an adult at least 3x per week (reading journals will be checked every Friday).
• Weekly times tables are set every Monday (see overview below)
