Welcome to Class 1!

We are a mixed age class of Nursery and Reception children, and our teachers are Miss Butler (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), Mrs Gibson (Thursday and Friday), Mrs Bewley (Senior Teaching Assistant), Miss Fisher (Apprentice TA) and Mrs Gould (PPA cover).

Key Information:

• Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday. We ask that children come to school wearing their PE kits on these days. Long hair should be tied up and no jewellery should be worn. Any stud earrings must be removed or taped if they are new piercings.
• Snack - Milk is provided for all children under the age of 5. Fruit is provided for all children.
• Please ensure that your child brings a full water bottle to school each day.
• School dinners are to be ordered on the schoolgrid website. 
• Your child will visit the library every Friday afternoon, please make sure that they return their books when they are ready to change them.

Homework:

• Every child is expected to read with an adult at least three times a week. Please sign your child's reading record.
• Little Wandle homework sheets are sent home every Thursday, these are to support and reinforce what your child has been learning during daily phonics sessions that week.
