At Thursby Primary School we teach Religious Education through an enquiry-based model using the scheme, Jigsaw RE complimented and underpinned with our Cumbrian Agreed Syllabus for RE 2023. We believe that this approach will develop children's critical thinking skills and their knowledge and understanding will deepen as they progress through school. We encourage empathy and diversity as they take into consideration many worldwide views and beliefs. This inspires a philosophy that children are free to make their own choices and decisions.
