Christmas crafts in Class 3

Class 3 began creating their junk sculptures and had a wonderful time building and problem solving how to attach pieces together.
This week we have been creating some character profiles. We have created our own main character and thought very carefully about their appearance and personalities. We have even included similes into our writing!

Character Profiles

Class 3 have enjoyed our class text ‘The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane.’ They have been very busy producing some excellent book reviews. Take a look at some of our work below!

In class 3, we have thoroughly enjoyed reading our class text ‘Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes. We have been listening carefully and have picked out some important character descriptions. Look at our amazing work!!

In Class 3 we have enjoyed a day of wellbeing. We cheered Joe Wicks as he completed his 24hour fitness challenge for Children in Need, we painted and collaged.  We talked about kindness and friendship. We wrote sentences linked to happiness. We even enjoyed a healthy afternoon snack together. Here are a few photos to give you a flavour of our day!

Children in Need in Class 3

The children of Class 3 have amazed us since returning in September. They have worked hard both in the classroom and also at home, showing focus, enthusiasm and kindness to others in our bubble. It really has been a time to pull together and Class 3 have definitely done this.

Here’s a range of work that they have produced for you to see.

Remembrance Day Poppy Art

Autumn Trees created by blowing paint to form branches and carefully mixing paints for the leaves.

Today we wrote instructions ‘How to make a Potion’ in our English work. In the afternoon we made our own potions in jam jars.
